14th Fall HT Community Gathering Summary
14th Annual Fall OKI Healing Touch Gathering
Sponsored by HTWF!
October 26, 2018 in Cincinnati Ohio
Sixty people attended the Fall OKI gathering. It was a wonderful event to learn, to network and to simply catch up with so many Healing Touch friends. The community was updated on HTWF’s grants that were funded this year as well as those that were completed. It was wonderful to celebrate Bobbie McCourt’s certification with a pinning ceremony. We also celebrated and recognized Theresa Kajs with a pinning ceremony for her 20th anniversary as an instructor. Congratulations ladies!!!
We were honored to have Cynthia Hutchison, DNSc, MSN, RN, HTCP/I, HT Education Program Director, to be part of our gathering. Cynthia presented the history behind the Eurythmy Body Prayer, taught us the graceful movements of the Vowel Prayer (A-E-I-O-U), followed by The Halleluiah prayer. What an awesome time!
The VOWEL Prayer:
A= I open myself to Truth, Beauty and Goodness, and the Miracle of my life.
E= May I live my life in Purity, in Compassion and in Good Will.
I= May I be a Bridge between Heaven and Earth.
O= I embrace my life; I love my life; I love the World.
U= Through Earth and Heaven, I align my Willing, Feeling & Willing with Love.
We had a great lineup of Raffle and Silent Auction items that made their way home to new owners.
Through your support of these fundraising events we raised $1100!
Thank you to the volunteers who were part of the success of this gathering; Rosita Dobbins, Pat Springer, Theresa Kajs, Joan Stouffer, Mary Duennes, Cheri Franklin.
Thank you to ALL 60 Attendees!

Thanks to ALL our supporters
we RAISED $9,800!
Our October 6th race was unseasonably warm and beautiful sunny morning for our 6th Annual race. Participant’s enjoyed the scenic course around the lake and all the post events from our sponsor booths to the FREE Healing Touch! This year’s participation was significantly reduced in participation due to other races and homecomings event but we all there had a great time. Please take a look at our video, Diane Frame Photography did an amazing job capturing the event.
Our oldest racer was 72 year old Barbara Wendell ran her first ever 5k race in record time, finishing first in her age group category and 16th overall in 42:29.3 minutes!
We would like to give recognition to the planning team who were critical in organizing this event.
Jean Fudge, Sue Wheeler, Frani Jackson, Kay Ryan, Sharon Mirman and Pam Taylor.
